City hoppen! also English!

Een verhaaltje vannuit Bologna. Het hart van al het lekkere eten in Italie. Mijn dieet zal dus nog even moeten wachten! Ik verblijf in een erg oud maar lrachtig en functioneel hui. Er liggen overal hopen sneeuw in de stad maar sinds ik hier ben aangekomen is het alleen nog maar lekker weer geweest. Hiervoor heb ik twee nachten doorgebracht op het platteland dichtbij Padova. Ook weer een prachtig huis wat voornamelijk uit hout bestond. Als speciaal element had het een pizza oven. WHA! Verder wel modern met uitzicht over een heuvel landschap. Mijn host daar heeft mij workaway.com aangeraden. Op deze site kan ik mijzelf als vrijwilliger aanbieden om bijv. op een boierderij te gaan werken in ruil voor eten en een bed. Dit wordt waarschijnlijk m'n volgende bestemming na Bologna. Ik ben wel klaar om lekker de paarden en de rust op te zoeken na alle stedentrips. Venezia was ongelooflijk druk met de carnevale. Wel echt een hele gebeurtenis hoor en een hele gezellige feest sfeer. Ik heb prachtige kostuums gezien maar heb ook de meest sullige gezien waar ik echt om in een deuk lag. Ik heb ook padova nog bezocht omdat ik hier overnachtte. Vanavond ga ik wat andere cs'ers ontmoeten hier in Bologna. Dus gezelligheid.

A story written from the city of Bologna. The center of all Italy's delicious food. I guess my diet will have to wait a bit! I'm staying in a very old but functional hous. Everywhere in the city there are big heaps of snow that are slowly melting away. But from the moment that I arrived in the city it has been really sunny and warm. Before Bologna I stayed in the countryside of Padova for two nights. Yet again a beautiful house mainly made out of wood. With an pizzaoven as special ellement. Quite modern with a lovely view over the hils. My host there introduced me to workaway.com. On this website I can find for example farms where I could work as an volunteer in exchange for food and a place to sleep. Probably this will be my next destination. I hope because after all the city trips I'm ready to be in the countryside and with horses. Venezia was amazingly busy with the carnevale. Realy a fantastic happening with a wonderfull atmosphere. I've seen the most beautiful costuums and also the most silly ones. I also visited Padova because I stayed there when I was visiting Venezia. Tonight I'll meet some other cs'ers here in Bologna. FUN!
